Resisting the Devil is a thoughtful work that allows for a balanced dialogue between the ministry of deliverance and the church's rite of exorcism.
In his book Resisting the Devil, Neal Lozano reveals how evil spirits sometimes tell us lies that keep us stuck in our sins and personal problems. He explains a process of deliverance—a way to deal with such malevolent influences—that is based on the teachings and tradition of the Catholic Church. Lozano’s model, called Delivered, based on three decades of ministry in deliverance, builds a bridge between the sacrament of reconciliation (confession) and exorcism. Those who need an exorcism are very few.
