Claire Danner Crispin, a mother of four and renowned glass artist, is so busy she can't breathe. Despite this, she accepts an offer to host a summer gala for a local charity.
One of the reasons the association has chosen her is her high school relationship with the famous rock star, Max West. Max agrees to perform and everything seems to be going well, until Claire decides to produce a masterpiece for auction.
