Slavlja
Little things, small prose, prose pieces, become magnificent when written by a writer like Tournier. They truly celebrate the moments in which they were created.
Woven from incidents and happenings from the writer's everyday life, Celebrations seduce us with their apparent simplicity and concealment of greater ambitions. Stringed like pearls on a necklace – from encounters with famous beings like Princess Diana, to essays on beauty, ugliness, pets and names, Celebrations tempt us to reread over and over again. Universal as any day, festive because of the genius that touched them, they will turn into the greatest decoration the moment you pick them up.
