"Little Flame" (1971) by Dubravka Ugrešić is a collection of stories for children in which the author depicts a children's world full of curiosity, play, and feelings through warm, simple, and imaginative tales.
The novel belongs to the children's historical novel genre with a theme from the second half of the 12th and the beginning of the 13th century in Dalmatia.
It's a story about a cheeky and jealous boy, Krešo, who tries his best to make Iviča's life miserable.
