Otočne priče

Otočne priče

Vlasta Marušić

Island stories are inspired by some real-life situations and people from our islands, with the intention of leaving a small "trace in infinity". The rest is fictional.

The stories that Vlasta Marušić offers us in this volume are, above all, lively, lively, and open to multi-layered experience and interpretation. The author uses a sparkling but simple vocabulary, without much need to please at first. She consciously takes away the ultimate intention from the story, does not channel it to amaze, astonish, or "overwhelm" us. No, she lets the story permeate the island at its own rhythm.
