Hrvatski obiteljski leksikon #1 : A - Boy

Hrvatski obiteljski leksikon #1 : A - Boy

The Croatian Family Lexicon is a universal type of lexicographic work intended for the widest range of users. From the vast amount of knowledge and information, it selects and processes what best suits the needs of modern man.

From the first article − which reveals the meaning of the letter a − to the last − which teaches us that the žveglica is a folk instrument − concepts from various fields and professions are listed and explained: science, culture, technology, economy, politics, sports, entertainment, philosophy, law, art... Countries and peoples of the world, professional names, proper names, historical, political and cultural events, religious, social and artistic movements and prominent figures from various fields are covered, with special attention paid to Croatian content. The time span of the material reaches from prehistory, and it is presented with short and simple explanations. Due to its three fundamental features − the representation of numerous professions, conciseness and clarity of presentation − the Croatian Family Lexicon is a work of the widest application, accessible to readers with different needs and interests, and a valuable source for quick, accessible and reliable information.
