Pljuni istini u oči

Buldožer

Spill the Truth Into Your Eyes is the first studio album by the Ljubljana band Buldožer, released in 1975, and this release is available in audio cassette format. The album is considered one of the most provocative and important releases of regional rock in the seventies because it brought a completely different approach to the music scene of the time – a combination of progressive rock, blues, psychedelia, theatrical absurdity and satirical lyrics.

Led by Marko Brecelj and Boris Bele, Buldožer builds a recognizable world of irony, grotesque and black humor on the album, while simultaneously ridiculing social patterns, variety shows and rock stereotypes. The album features six long compositions: The Most Suitable Place, Life, That's Pepper, What Are You Doing, Buldožeru Jedan?, Blues Gnjus, Love on the First Bed and Yes My Baby, No.

The musical release is characterized by complex arrangements, long forms, changes in style and experimental elements, with influences from Frank Zappa and avant-garde rock. It was recorded in 1975 at the Ljubljana studio Akademik, and the original cover designed like a satirical newspaper further emphasized the conceptual character of the album.

The audio cassette represents an authentic sound carrier of one of the most important albums of the ex-Yu alternative and progressive rock scene and a valuable collector's item for fans of innovative, unconventional and cult domestic music.
