Sanjao Sam Noćas Da Te Nemam (Velike Rock Balade)

Bijelo Dugme

Bijelo dugme – Sanjao sam noćas da te nemam is a compilation of the group's greatest ballads, published by Jugoton in 1984. It brings timeless love songs that marked the band's first decade of work.

Sanjao sam noćas da te nemam is a compilation album by the Sarajevo rock band Bijelo dugme, released by Jugoton in 1984. The album brings together the most famous ballads written between 1974 and 1983 and represents a kind of cross-section of the most emotional part of the work of one of the most successful rock bands of the former Yugoslavia. The title of the compilation is taken from the song "Sanjao sam noćas da te nemam", released on the album Eto! Baš hoću! from 1976.

The album contains anthological songs such as There's a secret connection, Selma, I came to tell you I'm leaving, Bad wine, I agreed to be everything you want, I dreamed last night that I wouldn't have you, Don't look at me like that and don't kiss me anymore, When you forget July, If you can, forget it, All that, my dear, will be covered with rosemary, snow and sedge. The selection of songs covers the period with the vocals of Željko Bebek and summarizes the most beautiful love and melancholic moments of the band's opus.

The compilation was a great success among the audience because it gathered the most famous ballads of Bijelo dugme on one LP. Today, Jugoton's 1984 release is a valued collector's item and an indispensable title for fans of domestic rock music and Yugoslav discography.
