Šarlo Akrobata, Idoli, Električni Orgazam

Paket Arranjam is a cult compilation released in 1981, bringing together Šarlo Akrobata, Idole, and Električni orgazam. It is considered one of the most important albums of Yugoslav new wave and rock music.

Paket aranžman is a cult compilation album released in 1981 by Jugoton, featuring three young Belgrade bands – Šarlo Akrobata, Idoli and Električni orgazam. The album was created in collaboration with the production company PGP RTB and is considered one of the most important releases of the Yugoslav new wave, as it introduced the wider audience to bands that would soon become the leaders of the new rock scene.

Each of the bands on the album performs several original songs. Šarlo Akrobata is represented by the songs Ona se budi, Niko kao ja, Mali čovek and Oko moje glaves, bringing a blend of punk, funk and experimental rock. Električni orgazam performs Krokodili dolaze, Zlatni papagaj and Vi, demonstrating raw energy and garage sound. The idols are presented with the songs Schwüle über Europa, Plastika, Amerika and Maljčiki, which combine art rock, pop and witty social satire.

The album was produced by Enco Lesić, and is characterized by a fresh, immediate sound that faithfully captured the creative energy of the Belgrade scene at the time. Although it was not conceived as a commercial project, Package Arrangement soon acquired a cult status and strongly influenced the development of rock music throughout the former Yugoslavia.

Today, the original LP is considered one of the most important and sought-after releases of Yugoslav discography. The package arrangement remains an indispensable document of the beginning of the new wave and one of the key releases in the history of regional rock music.
