Moja koža je tanja

Moja koža je tanja

Tanja Belobrajdić

After two novels - the award-winning "Black Coat" (2015) and "My Husband's Wife" (2017) - Tanja Belobrajdić collected her first poetry collection in this thin leather binding.

Divided into the subtitles ROM – Read-only Memory, Introspection, Nowhereland, Goldfingers and Nobody's Warrior, these intimate poetic writings could have been arranged in any way, while retaining the outlines of a lyrical or melodramatic subject in every detail. Not necessarily tender, not always compassionate, the verses nevertheless testify to female nature, to the nature of “female writing” (a phrase that makes everyone except men roll their eyes); beneath the almost transparent epidermis lies an intimate world, somewhat “unclear in the soul”, as Arsen Dedić would say. And to some extent, the poems also testify to the vice that another author claims is typically female: repeating the same mistakes. Of course, there is also pain as a regular punishment for melodramatic attempts to assume our supposedly free will over the powers of fate.
