Released in June 1989 under the auspices of Geffen Records, the album Heart Of Stone represents the nineteenth studio project of the inimitable Cher and one of the most successful, best-selling albums of her rich career. With this release, she established her spectacular musical comeback in the late eighties, adopting a tighter, more energetic melodic pop-rock and arena-rock sound that perfectly suited her powerful, deep and recognizable vocals.
