After the war, in "Novosti" and "Večera" there are other novels that are ideologically and thematically connected to those mentioned: "Court Camarilla", "Rival of Maria Theresa" and "Rebel on the Throne".
On June 18, 1918, a dramatization of the popular novel "The Greek Witch" by the writer Marija Jurić Zagorka was performed at the National Theater in Zagreb. The theater management knew exactly that the work would be an unprecedented success on stage as well. The story about the persecution of witches in Zagreb is dressed up by the author in a romantic adventure outfit. The work made a great contribution to the literacy of our people and beyond the borders of Croatia.
