Plavokrila ptica
The first part of the book consists of poems for and about children, and the second part consists of three plays. Some of the poems are accompanied by musical notations, and the plays are short and interesting enough to be performed in schools.
Gardaš's style remains recognizable in this collection: simple language, warmth, gentle instruction, love of nature and everyday children's experiences. The title Plavukrila ptica evokes freedom, imagination and beauty – motifs that often appear in his poetry for children.
