Fatima: Poruka tragedije ili poruka nade?

Fatima: Poruka tragedije ili poruka nade?

Antonio Borelli

The book deals with the apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary at Fatima in 1917 in Portugal, where she appeared to three children – Lucia, Jacinta and Francisco. Borelli positions Fatima as a crossroads: a tragedy if the messages are ignored or found thr

Borelli, a Brazilian expert in Mariology, provides a comprehensive analysis of the messages, secrets, and meanings of these events, emphasizing their topicality. The book is illustrated with images of the visionaries, Pope John Paul II, and a statue of Our Lady of Fatima, and includes an account of the Third Secret of Fatima, published in 2000.

Borelli highlights the key messages of Our Lady: a call to prayer, penance, and conversion to avoid catastrophes and ensure peace. Our Lady emphasized the importance of praying the Rosary, consecrating Russia to her Immaculate Heart, and the devotion of the First Saturdays. The book describes visions of hell, predictions of wars and persecutions of the Church, and the promise of the final victory of the Heart of Mary.

In the preface to the Croatian edition, Cardinal Franjo Kuharić connects the messages with the evangelical call to conversion, warning of the dangers of a proud world that ignores sin. Available in a new translation with an appendix on the dedication of Russia in 2022, the book is accessible and engaging, encouraging readers to engage in spiritual reflection.
