The Little Prince is the most famous novel by the French pilot Antoine de Saint-Exupery from 1943. It has been translated into over 290 languages and has sold more than 80 million copies, making it one of the best-selling books in the world.
The main character is the boy Ivančica, who lives with his mother and grandmother. His family is poor but warm-hearted. Ivančica is a special boy because he has golden hair, which is why he is called "Goldsmith's Little Gold".
