Ne ograničivši se na naše nacionalno tlo, Šarić prikazuje, u dvadesetak lako napisanih studija, kako su ljudi od vremena Inka i Tutenk-Amona do Cromwella i Rommela, do naših dana, tragali a katkada i nalazili zakopano blago i skrivene vrijednosti. Koristeći svjetsku literaturu o ovome predmetu, Šarić je uspio da čitaocu predoči, vrlo plastično traganje za skrivenim blagom i groznice zlatnih zakopanih bogatstava.
