Zlatko Crnković

The double life of an editorial legend.

Mr. Freud would surely have shrugged his shoulders in confusion if he had by any chance stumbled upon the too dense texture of the dream repertoire of the proverbially polite Mr. Crnković. Because in the dreamy worlds of that translator and editor pioneer of the domestic literary scene, all kinds of feathered women walk (Severina, Clinton, Kušan, Tuđman, Torbarina, Canjuga, Sušak, Aralica...), sometimes in production no more and no less than Walt Disney himself. If it were not a full-blooded literary tissue, we might think that it is a synopsis for some ridiculous cartoon.
