In her preface Mrs. Moorman modestly claims that she has not learned "many new facts about Wordsworth," but she certainly enriches the outline of his early years.
"Odd Number" is a collection of prose and poetry that was in the making for about 5 years, although at first I didn't think it would become a book," says the author about her first book.
Through a series of connected episodes, the author describes his childhood and youth in the village, interweaving personal experiences with the historical and social context of the time.
