Jarčeva obratnica je još jedan legendarni erotski roman iz pera Henrya Millera, objavljen 1938. godine. Zbog ubačene filozofije pomalo je teška za shvatiti. U ovom djelu Henry je u Parizu, ali se ustvari prisjeća djetinjstva u New Yorku.
Trilogiju Rakova obratnica, Crno proljeće i Jarčeva obratnica, izdala je kuća Otokar Keršovani iz Rijeke 1967-68. U njima se seksualna fantazija, vezana uz obilje crnog i ciničnog humora, uklapa u opis kaotičnog i neodgovornog ponašanja ljudi izvan redovnih zanimanja. Svjesna amorfnost kompozicije, u kojoj se anegdote prepliću s prirodno-mističnim meditacijama, odraz je Millerovog nihilističkog stava prema civilizaciji. Ova trilogija je bila dugo zabranjivana u SAD-u.
