Tošič is one of the pioneers in the introduction of modern ways of growing fruit trees in the then SFRY. Bearing in mind that the physiology of growing fruit trees is essentially the physiology of photosynthesis, this book emphasizes the role of pruning in the correction and direction of all processes accompanying photosynthesis. And all with the aim of further increasing its student body and achieving high yields.
