Director Monica Carlsson wants to privatize the Nobel Hospital, so she opens a controversial liver transplant unit and hires the famous surgeon Klas Nyström. It soon becomes clear that Klas has his own plans and is doing everything he can to discredit Tekla. But Tekla just wants to discover the truth about what happened to the mysterious woman and why she ended up in the hospital, as well as discover the boy's true identity...
