Mormonova knjiga

Joseph Smith

"An account written by the hand of Mormon on plates taken from the plates of the Nephites."

It was published in 1830 by Joseph Smith. According to Smith's claims, he translated the Book of Mormon from the golden plates, which were given to him by the angel Moroni in 1827, while according to the opinions of most non-Mormon scholars, the book was written by Smith himself. The Book of Mormon contains texts about the Judeo-Christian civilization that existed from 600 BC. Kr. existed on the soil of America and which in the 5th century destroyed by pagan American Indians. Archaeologists have not found traces of the existence of such a civilization. According to the claims from the Book of Mormon, after the resurrection, Jesus Christ appeared on American soil, where he preached to the members of that civilization. Other Christian Churches do not recognize the Book of Mormon.
