Žene na studencu

Žene na studencu

Knut Hamsun

Žene na studenac, another great novel by Hamsun, more voluminous than the previous ones, was published three years after Fruits of the Earth.

In a series of characters from the top and bottom of society in a small town, the indestructible Oliver Andersen and his wife Petra stand out, through whose life and the life of their family, with alternating ups and downs, the plot of this book unfolds, a chronicle of a time that extends over the period of over thirty years. The book is published in two volumes and is only available as a set.
