Nathan Never #1: Specijalni agent Alfe

Nathan Never #1: Specijalni agent Alfe

Antonio Serra

The first issue of the Italian sci-fi comic "Nathan Never", created by the team of authors Michele Medda, Antonio Serra and Bepi Vigna. The comic was first published in 1991 by the publishing house Sergio Bonelli Editore.

The main character, Nathan Never, is a former policeman who is haunted by traumatic events from his past. After his wife Laura was killed by the criminal Ned Mace, and his daughter Ann became institutionalized due to shock, Nathan retires from the police force. He later joins the Alfa Agency, a private detective agency specializing in fighting high-tech crime in a futuristic city full of violence and corruption.

In this first issue, Nathan is tasked with investigating a series of mysterious events involving advanced technology and corporate conspiracies. As he investigates, he faces dangerous adversaries, including assassin androids and powerful corporations seeking to control the city. Nathan uses his detective skills, martial arts training and technological aids to uncover the truth and protect the innocent.

"Special Agent Alpha" lays the foundation for further adventures of Nathan Never, introducing readers to a complex world where elements of cyberpunk, noir and classic science fiction intertwine. The comic explores topics such as humanity in a technological society, the ethics of artificial intelligence and the fight against corruption, making it relevant and intriguing to a wide audience.
