Nevjesta i zvijer

Bernard MacCullough wandered the halls of the ruined castle alone for so long that he no longer knew whether he was a man or a beast. But one stormy night, the superstitious highlanders of Ballybliss, a small village nestled in the valley below the castle, left a virgin tied to a tree at his door, hoping to atone for the past sins for which he was punishing them. He soon realized that she was the only one he couldn't strike fear into. She wasn't afraid of him at all. She didn't even believe it was a dragon because such creatures only exist in myths and fairy tales. That is why he had no choice but to imprison her because he could not allow her to return to the village and expose him.

He imprisoned her in the tower, and soon found that he could not resist going to her at night. He would never do her any harm, but he loved watching her sleep. Although she couldn't know it, she crawled into his heart. True, she refused to believe that dragons exist, but he decided to convince her that there is something more magical than that - love.
