Luka Vuco

A dramatic moral travelogue of a young state

“Croatian emergence or disappearance – A dramatic moral journey of a young state” is the title of a new book by Luka Vuce, M.Sc., which he dedicated to the parishioners of Kaštel Novi. It is a book, as Father Bono Zvonimir Šagi states in the foreword, which “reflects on our Croatian social reality, the events of the past years (2002-2005), the maturation of democracy and the interactive opening of Christian spirituality as an unavoidable factor in a plural, increasingly disoriented society and world, opens and expands a multitude of questions and at the same time challenges the reader to engage in reflection and dialogue himself”. The book collects articles published up to November 2005, mainly in “Vjesnik”, while earlier articles were mostly columns in Jutarnji list, as Mirko Novak points out in the afterword to the book.
