Pirati s Kariba 1–4: književna prilagodba

Pirati s Kariba 1–4: književna prilagodba

Ted Elliott, John Bramley

Egmont's edition of Pirates of the Caribbean includes four books, literary adaptations of the film hits of the same name, adapted for younger readers.

The series brings the adventures of Captain Jack Sparrow, Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann, intertwined with elements of the supernatural and mythology.

  1. Curse of the Black Pearl: Young blacksmith Will Turner teams up with notorious pirate Jack Sparrow to rescue Elizabeth Swann, kidnapped by the cursed crew of the Black Pearl. The legend of a ghostly ship and its immortal pirates becomes a reality, and the heroes face dangers beyond their imagination.

  2. Dead man's chest: Jack Sparrow faces the consequences of an ancient pact with Davy Jones, captain of the ghostly Flying Dutchman. In order to avoid eternal service on that ship, Jack must find the chest that contains Jones' heart. Meanwhile, Will and Elizabeth embark on their own adventures, facing moral dilemmas and dangers.

  3. At the end of the world: The Black Pearl and Jack Sparrow disappeared into the depths of the sea. Will, Elizabeth and Captain Barbossa embark on a dangerous mission to bring them back from the world of the dead. The pirate world faces the threat of extinction, and alliances are made and broken in the fight for survival.

  4. Unknown tides: Jack Sparrow searches for the Fountain of Youth, facing new enemies, including the infamous Blackbeard. In this adventure, Jack must deal with past loves and new threats as the line between reality and magic becomes ever thinner.

These literary adaptations provide readers with exciting stories full of action, humor and fantasy elements, faithfully conveying the spirit of the film templates.
