Zaboravljena torba

Zaboravljena torba

Anto Gardaš

This novel combines mystery, adventure, and friendship, and encourages the reader to think, reason, and empathize.

The plot begins when a group of children – the main character Domagoj and his friends – find a forgotten bag at a train station. The bag contains suspicious objects and documents that point to a possible criminal act, perhaps even espionage or theft.

Instead of immediately handing the bag over to the police, the children decide to investigate the case themselves, driven by curiosity and a desire for adventure. Throughout the novel, they get involved in a series of tense situations, follow suspicious people, make brave decisions and face real danger.

Although they are only children, their ingenuity, resourcefulness and team spirit enable them to solve the mystery. In the end, they realize that honesty and responsibility must take precedence over adventurism, so they hand over the bag and the information they have discovered to the authorities.
