The book is structured analytically, focusing on key aspects of Petrić's philosophical system, based on a reinterpretation of Aristotle through a Renaissance prism. Girardi Karšulin uses primary sources (Petrić's works such as Defensio Aristotelis ad Iacobum Lopem, Discussiones peripateticae, and Ars historica), as well as secondary literature, to reconstruct Petrić's thought in the context of Croatian and European philosophical heritage.
