With his humorous miniatures, Drnić takes us on a safari through the urban milieu from the 90s onwards, a space-time that many of us have been part of, but only a few of us have seen and known everything about.
We will be introduced to the half-world that the author knows damn well, with characters like police officers, politicians, criminals, big and small, prostitutes, artists and bums, ordinary and unusual organisms and organs of order and disorder. The narrator's gaze is full of deep and warm understanding of the mechanisms of the soul and society, he holds up a mirror in which, along with his colorful characters, he questions himself. And even some of us who, as it were, have not seen and known everything.
