Osnove semiologije komunikacije

In the study "Fundamentals of Communication Semiology", Dubravko Škiljan provides a systematic introduction to semiology as the science of signs and communication. The author discusses basic concepts such as sign, code, message, communication process and meaning, and considers the relationship of language to other sign systems. Starting from contemporary linguistic and semiotic theories, he analyzes the ways in which meanings are formed, transmitted and interpreted in different social and cultural contexts. The work is intended for students and researchers of linguistics, communication studies, semiotics and related disciplines, and represents one of the fundamental Croatian works in the field of communication theory.
