Dejvi Kroket

Tom Hill

This character is known from American folklore, and stories about him have become popular in various forms, including books, films, and TV series.

Davy Crockett Grown Up is part of a popular series of adventure books for children and young adults about the legendary American frontiersman Davy Crockett. The author signed as Tom Hill is actually the Danish writer Karen Brunés (1893–1977), who wrote 16 books about Crockett between 1955 and 1960. The books are written in a simple, dynamic style suitable for children and younger adolescents, with an emphasis on action and heroism. They are part of the "crocketomania" that swept America in the 1950s (thanks to Disney movies and series) and quickly spread to Europe.
