Agatha Christie

Caribbean Mystery is a thrilling crime novel by Agatha Christie in which the beloved Miss Jane Marple finds herself far from her peaceful English village of St. Mary Mead. After an illness, her nephew sends her to recover at the luxurious Golden Palm resort on the sunny Caribbean island of St. Honoré.

Although she should be resting, Miss Marple soon becomes bored in her idyllic surroundings. Everything changes when the talkative Major Palgrave begins to tell her about an unsolved murder from the past. Before he can show her a photograph of the alleged murderer, the Major abruptly ends the conversation because he notices someone nearby. The next morning, the Major is found dead, and the death is quickly attributed to high blood pressure.

However, Miss Marple suspects murder, especially after the aforementioned photograph disappears and the maid who noticed the suspicious details is found dead. To uncover the criminal lurking among the guests and staff, Miss Marple forms an unlikely alliance with the grumpy but extremely wealthy tycoon Jason Rafiel. Together they must unravel the web of deception before the killer strikes again.
