The essays collected in this book reveal the origins and meanders of Sanja Lovrenčić's years-long search for the authentic character of Ivana Brlić Mažuranić.
The book represents the author's anthology - the largest part is the novel Čisla (Čisla), followed by the short story Macedonian Criticism of French Thought and several short stories (Odin vog, Akiko, Fokus-grupa, Gost na prazniku bon).
Selvedin Avdić writes in such a way that the reader can't get rid of the excerpts they have read, and when they read the book to the end, probably on the ex, they unmistakably feel that they have been infected by it.
As in Velikić's previous novels, the heroes weave analogous and often intertwined destinies of frustrated Central European citizens and intellectuals, the topography is very diverse, but also recognizable.
Before us is a sociopolitical novel with a complex anti-utopian vision, which with its mature, colorful, charismatic and striking characters, as well as the original composition, not without an ironic deviation, gives a fresco of an alternative developmen
