Stanari u slonu

Stanari u slonu

Dubravko Horvatić

A collection of short stories and poems, intended for younger school age, and the winner of the "Grigor Vitez" award for 1969. It has seen numerous editions, partly due to the fact that its title story was included in the reading list.

An interesting story about a big elephant in which people started to move in, because the elephant was very good and as big as a house. But people being people, some started abusing his kindness and started entering the elephant without asking. And so until the elephant got very angry and chased them away with cunning.
