Eleven years ago, Lindsey Nash ran away with her daughter from her abusive alcoholic husband in the middle of the night. Chasing her, her husband Andrew caused a car accident and ended up in prison, and Lindsey and her daughter Sophie moved to Dogwood Bay, Canada and started their new life.
Today, Lindsey runs her own company, and her teenage daughter is looking for her own path. After Andrew is released from prison, Lindsey is convinced that she has cut ties and put the past behind her. But she is haunted by the constant feeling that someone is watching her, following her every move. Her new home was broken into, and her new boyfriend was attacked.
