The manual contains short contents on important and practical knowledge. Knowledge that is required for application during the cultivation or collection of certain plants. It contains only characteristic plants that are most often grown or collected in nature for various purposes. The manual consists of four parts: Cultivation and collection of medicinal, edible and herbal plants, Picking, drying and healthy nutrition, Poisonous and protected plants and first aid for plant poisoning, Appendices. At the end, there is an alphabetical list and a description of the meaning of the terms used in the book, an index of the Croatian and Latvian names of the plants that are treated here, and a list of the literature used.
