Ania Skliar

The Greatest Cultures of the World is a collection of eight books that talk about the world's great civilizations. The books were first published in Croatia in 2005 in Rijeka by the publisher Extrada d.o.o., but all eight books were also published specifi

The books are large format, have smooth, hard covers and numerous photographs and illustrations in color and black and white. Color photos are on separate, smooth pages and all are described in detail, and black and white illustrations are distributed throughout the books. All books do not have the same number of pages, but that number varies between 130 and 150 pages. All eight books have hard covers, on them there are color pictures, a large title of the book and a smaller title of a set of books written in a different color than the title. Books can be found at a good price in antique shops and some bookstores in most of Croatia. The books were printed in 2005 by the printing house Zrinski d.d. The illustrations on the cover were made by Corbis, and the translation into Croatian by Bojan Zeljko-Lipovšćak and Ivanka Šestan.
