Hegemonija ili opstanak: Američke težnje za globalnom dominacijom

For more than fifty years, the United States has pursued a grand imperial strategy aimed at global dominance. From the Cuban missile crisis to the wars in Iraq, our leaders have proven willing to pursue the dream of total supremacy, regardless of the cost. The Bush administration today accelerates the whole process, pushing us towards the extreme limits of imperial control, towards the choice between the privileges of power and a habitable Earth. In the book Hegemony or Survival, Noam Chomsky breaks down how we got to this point, what dangers we face, and why our rulers are willing to threaten the future of humanity. With impressive logic, which is his trademark, Chomsky dissects the American usurpation of the right to global supremacy, describing in detail the aggressive policy of the US government, which aims at "total dominance in the entire spectrum".
