The book is a genre of popular science literature with elements of technological vision and futurism, characteristic of the era in which it was created – the time of the Cold War, the space race, and great expectations from science.
In this work, Golubić seeks to bring the reader closer to the optimism of a scientific view of the future of humanity, based on faith in the progress of technology, science, and human knowledge. Elements of philosophy, sociology, and ecology are also woven throughout the book, but from a progressive, somewhat utopian perspective of the time.
