The work combines autobiographical elements, memories of past Christmases, and meditations on the contemporary world in crisis. The author portrays Christmas 2020 as quieter, more modest, but more spiritually intense, where external splendor is replaced by internal questioning and a return to the basics – love, unity, and faith.
