The book is the result of the author's research and dedication to preserving local identity, especially through her work in the Gajić Ethno Village, where she promotes Baranja customs. The focus is on Šokac costumes, part of the Pannonian style, which reflect the historical, social and economic circumstances of Baranja.

It documents women's and men's costumes, describing elements such as rubina (shirt), oplećka, fertun (apron), scarf, lajbek (vest) and boots. Of particular note are the rich embroidery with gold threads and floral motifs, which indicate social status and occasion (everyday or festive costume). Čeliković emphasizes the differences between villages, such as Draž, Zmajevac or Bilje, where costumes differ in details, such as the number of gold coins or the shape of the pleats. The book also includes practical instructions for making them, with an emphasis on hand weaving and embroidery, and tips for preserving tradition.

Illustrated with photographs and drawings, the book is educational and visually appealing, making it a valuable resource for ethnologists and culture lovers. Čeliković connects costumes with folklore and customs, emphasizing their role in preserving Croatian identity.
