Symphonia quasi eroica
This novel has a largely autobiographical character, and the main character is Kruno, a blind author who writes about blind people.
Throughout his life, Kruno goes through different stages, including schooling at the Institute for the Education of Blind Children, studying literature, participating in the national liberation movement and working in the Association of the Blind. Stanislav Šarić, in addition to being a writer, was also engaged in journalistic work and created the sign system for the first Croatian braille shorthand and designed a special machine for the production of relief paintings and objects for the blind.
