Gospodin Neodoljivi

The main character, Meg Koranda, the daughter of famous parents, comes to Wynette to attend the wedding of her best friend Lucy Jorik, the daughter of a former US president, to Ted Beaudine, the town's favorite son. However, Meg doubts the legitimacy of the marriage and decides to prevent the wedding. Her intervention results in the wedding being called off, making her the most hated person in town.

After losing her money, car, and the support of her famous parents, Meg is forced to stay in Wynette and face the consequences of her actions. Despite their initial hostility, an unexpected attraction develops between her and Ted. Through a series of comic and emotional situations, both of them question their views on love, commitment, and their own expectations.

The novel explores themes of self-confidence, social expectations, and the power of forgiveness, with plenty of humor and charm characteristic of Susan Elizabeth Phillips' style.
