Raznolikosti religioznog iskustva

William James

The book by the renowned psychologist and one of the founders of pragmatism, William James Varieties of Religious Experience: A Study of Human Nature, is a capital work of the psychology of religiosity.

First published back in 1902 on the basis of a lecture the author gave a year earlier at the University of Edinburgh where he provided a description of man's religious structure, James's work has retained the appeal and freshness that made it famous both in scientific circles and among the general public. James primarily deals with the research of personal spiritual experience, and not institutions and establishments that arose from and on religiosity, and reflects and interprets the richness of spiritual life as one of the fundamental psychological functions in which man finds great practical benefits.
