Briefly explained concepts from chemistry.
This book continues my earlier lexicon, which was published by the former "Panorama" and quickly sold out in three editions (1965-67). Since then, for twenty years, we have had no chemistry lexicon. Motivated by many inquiries and the need expressed by many parties to reprint such a handbook, I have prepared this new, more comprehensive and more modern Little Chemical Lexicon. It is designed to provide basic information and brief explanations to anyone who encounters the multitude of terms used today in pure and various fields of applied chemistry.

Work on lexicons has always been thankless and difficult. Lexicographi maximus post Herculem labor. That's why this book will certainly have omissions and shortcomings, so any objective remarks will come in handy.
