Skrivena mudrost u mitologiji
The myths of ancient peoples could have started as folk tales, like some of today's fairy tales. During their transmission through the centuries, sages, prophets and inspired poets added and enriched some of their sources.
Knowledge of the Enlightenment and its place in it has been accumulated by the human species over tens of thousands of years of measured time, but it has been transposed into forms of understanding that require a careful look below the surface. Mythological and allegorical stories can be a path to hidden truths for those in the know. The author emphasizes "correct interpretation" and "correct application", because received inspirations can result in both good and evil. The author is a British theosophist, occultist, mystic, philosopher and esotericist, for many years he was at the head of the Theosophical Society.
The truly inspired great dramas contained in mythology allegorically depict the divinely induced events that take place within and in each of the four kingdoms of nature – human, animal, vegetable and mineral, as well as in the four elements: earth, water, air and fire. The adventures of the supreme deities and their divine relatives, for example the Olympians among the ancient Greeks, and their numerous descendants personify characteristic actions that take place during the entire creation. Correctly interpreted, almost all interventions between the gods themselves and between gods and humans speak of one or another type of relationship. Despite the veil of protection that suggests the opposite, these relationships are always evolutionary accelerating and connect the divine from within with the common self-awareness of every inhabitant of the earth. If we accept some myths as allegories that hide fragments of truth, then many, if not all, such ancient legends may prove to be sources of very valuable information. This view turns out to be applicable not only to the beginning and development of the Universe, but also to the beginnings and development of the human species, which forms a branch of their inhabitants. Such an understanding especially refers to the understanding of philosophical and spiritual truths, the knowledge of which, properly applied in life, can be of great practical use.
