In Varaždin and its surroundings, as well as in the Croatian Zagorje and northwestern part of Croatia, the game of chess was known and accepted as early as the 16th and 17th centuries, and perhaps even earlier.
The album is in excellent condition, almost like new, with no damage to the cover or pages inside. Extremely rarely offered in this condition. 10 thumbnails are missing and the results of the matches are writen out. The picture is authentic.
