Dani Hvarskog kazališta: Hrvatska književnost uoči preporoda

Dani Hvarskog kazališta: Hrvatska književnost uoči preporoda

Hvar Theater Days, a scientific gathering started in 1974 by the initiative of HAZU, today's Literary Circle Split and the city of Hvar.

This gathering is a unique national manifestation within which Croatian literature and theater have been systematically studied for almost three decades. After the first twelve scientific and theatrical meetings were devoted exclusively to theatrical themes, then to monographic interpretations of individual authors from older Croatian literature, in the recent period systematic analyzes of stylistic periods in the development of national literature and theater were undertaken.
