Gulliverova putovanja

Jonathan Swift

Jonathan Swift's Gulliver's Travels is one of the most popular books of all time. This edition brings an edited translation by Velikanović and is enriched with over 400 illustrations by the legendary French cartoonist J. J. Grandville.

Jonathan Swift (1667-1745) is an Irish writer today best known for the novel "Gulliver's Travels". A scathing satire of corrupt English government, his masterpiece is one of the undisputed classics of English-speaking literature. It gained fame even at the time of publication. George Orwell included it among the six most important works of world literature, and it has been adapted countless times in literature, theater, film, both live and animated.

In addition to Swift's complete text - all four books - the book is equipped with accompanying comments by Walter Scott, Ivan Goran Kovačić, Božidar Perač and others.
